This early enthusiasm led her to enroll in UODA Charukala, where she dedicated herself to her craft and earned both her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and Master of Fine Arts (MFA).
Sharmin’s artistic style is a harmonious blend of academic techniques and realism, deeply influenced by the nature that surrounds her. She often draws inspiration from the immediate elements of the natural world—flowers, landscapes, and the changing seasons. This connection to nature not only enriches her artwork but also provides a sense of satisfaction and joy that she aims to convey to her audience.

Her hard work and commitment have earned her several prestigious awards throughout her career. In 2014, she received the Award of Merit from the Fourth Convocation of UODA. Three years later, in 2017, she was honored with the S.M. Sultan Foundation Award.
The year 2020 marked a significant milestone in her career, as she won the First National Online Watercolor Art Exhibition Award organized by IWS Bangladesh. That same year, she also received the Artist Subir Chowdhury Award during the 18th anniversary celebration of UODA, Faculty of Fine Arts, and an award from Art & Travel’s First Online Exhibition.
