Architectural scene of Bangladesh right now is definitely very prosperous. It goes with internationality but in national ambience.

The future is bright and optimistic. Our young architects are very serious to create soil’s identity with the mission and vision of keeping the very Banglaliana or Bengaliness in their architectural creations.

Think globally and act locally on the roots and riverined alluvial soil of this free, sovereign and pluratic land. Be proud of Bangladesh’s rich cultural history and heritage.

About Architect
Rabiul Husain is a noted architect, poet and critic of Bangladesh. He has designed several residential, institutional and public buildings throughout his career. He is one of the leading architects of the ‘70s, an era marked by revolutionary ideas and accomplishments. Outside his career, he served as president of The Institute of Architects, Bangladesh (IAB) for four terms, served as vice-chairman of ARCASIA (Architects Regional Council of Asia), served as vice-president of CAA (Commonwealth Association of Architects) and served as president of SAARCH ( South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation of Architects).
