Growing up in a family where tradition and entrepreneurship coexisted, Maneek’s father, a businessman, harbored hopes of his son following in his footsteps. However, it was Maneek’s unwavering determination to pursue his passion for art that ultimately prevailed. His academic journey culminated in the attainment of both a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Drawing & Painting, marking the beginning of his formal foray into the world of art.
Throughout his academic pursuits, Maneek’s creative spirit was nurtured by his deep-rooted connection to his homeland and his fond memories of exploring the historic streets of Puran Dhaka with his father. These formative experiences would later serve as a wellspring of inspiration for Maneek’s artistic endeavors, shaping his distinctive style and thematic explorations.
Upon completing his studies, Maneek embarked on a professional journey as an artist, guided by a steadfast commitment to discipline and routine. Believing in the adage that consistency breeds excellence, Maneek established a rigorous daily routine that centered around his artistic practice.
