Alliance Francaise de Dhaka hosts a group art exhibition ‘From Suffering to Liberation: Buddha of Bengal’ organized by Oriental Painting Study Group. The exhibition is open to all till May 15.
The exhibition is curated by Mikhail I. Islam. It features the works of 52 artists from West Bengal, India and Bangladesh. Marking Buddha Purnima, this exhibition celebrates the life and teachings of Gautama Buddha, treasuring his journey from his birth as a prince, his walk to enlightenment, to his demise.
