IAB hosted its 3rd episode of Golden Jubilee celebration at IAB Centre on October 22. The event started with the ‘Symposium on the UIA Year of Design for Health’ followed by ‘Expert Talk’ session and cultural performance and dinner.
Architect Natalie Mossin spoke about the book ‘Architecture of the Pandemic’ that present 35 cases of architectural responses to the pandemic crisis situation and architect Jakob Brandtberg Knudsen depicted his research on how architecture and the built environment design can fight back maleria and other diseases on the African continent. After the presentation, the four multidisciplinary panelist; architect Marina Tabassum, architect Mahmudul Anwar Riyaad, Shamsel Arifeen, Senior Researcher, ICDDRB, and Kishwar Imdad, CEO, Marie Stopes Bangladesh.
