Indrolok, Weaving the Rainbow
In this trying time, Edge, The Foundation had arranged a group exhibition ‘Indrolok, Weaving the Rainbow’ for a number of thriving artists, to display their exciting works. The name of the exhibition is derived from mythology where there is a place known by the name ‘Indra Loka’. In mythology it had been described as the “Heaven of the Gods”. While in Bangla it is read as Indrolok, and artists are the creators of that dream world, weaving bonds between souls.

Edge gallery curated the exhibition where people had found a world of styles, techniques and media – mostly homegrown, but some from abroad too. There, contemporary masters gathered to help weave that rainbow of colors and emotion, into a place where dreams are made. The gallery invited the seeking souls to join them on a journey to Indrolok.
Now more than ever, art is something that can help lift our spirits and improve our wellbeing. Edge Gallery had the exhibition prepared to empower the artists and let one lose themselves for a little while, in the eclectic collection of artworks by some of the most renowned artists of our time, in the realm where rainbows are woven.
They had placed special emphasis on ensuring physical distancing and proper safety and hygiene standards. The health and safety of the community was the top priority.
