EMK celebrates 50 years of friendship between the U.S. and Bangladesh by hosting a group art exhibition created by American and Bangladeshi artists that commemorate the 50 years of friendship between the two countries. The exhibition was launched on November 2 and is open to all till November 15.
The exhibition is curated by Rokeya Sultana, Professor, Print Making Department, Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Professor Emerita Karen Kunc, United States of America. The artworks are created by Bangladeshi artists: Nagarbasi Barman, Razwanur Bhuiyan, and Rokeya Sultana, and American artists: Karen Kunc, Andy Rubin, and Mark E. Ritchie. Edward M. Kennedy, Jr., and his family visited the EMK Center which is named after his father Senator Edward M. Kennedy. Together with Ambassador Haas, they inaugurated the art exhibition.
