The office design by Nouveau Ink Studioworks for ADA Bangladesh perfectly balances creativity, functionality, and comfort, resulting in a space that is as innovative as it is motivating. Led by Qutbuddin Kapadia, a Bangladeshi architect and the Managing Director of Nouveau Ink Studioworks Ltd, this design embodies a dynamic and inspiring workspace. Spanning over 9,500 square feet across two floors, the new office is a true reflection of the company’s culture.
The concept behind the design was simple yet powerful – create a space that fosters synergy, encourages interaction, and adapts to the diverse needs of its team.
The layout is split into two distinct areas, each with its own personality, while still maintaining an overall sense of unity. Level 9, spanning 6,500 sq. ft., is divided into two main zones. Zone A is a polished, professional space for meetings and collaboration, including a spacious conference room, two meeting rooms, and a series of soundproof phone booths. These booths are perfect for one-on-one calls or video meetings, giving employees the flexibility to connect without distraction.
Zone B is a free-flowing, open environment designed for hot-desking. The area is filled with various types of seating arrangements, allowing team members to move around, choose where they feel most comfortable, and be inspired by the ever-changing layout. The goal was to eliminate rigid desk assignments and create a playful yet functional experience that encourages both collaboration and deep focus.
Level 10 (3,000 sq. ft.) is where the magic really happens for team bonding and relaxation: A townhall space for up to 100 people serves as the heart of the office, where large meetings, presentations, and company events can take place. The maternity room is a thoughtful addition, offering a quiet, private space for new parents. A self-serve pantry caters to the team’s needs throughout the day, allowing them to refuel with ease. Finally, the recreational zone provides an area for employees to unwind, recharge, and connect in a more informal setting.
The design team took great care to incorporate the company’s vibrant brand colors, weaving them throughout the office in creative ways.
They wanted to use a strong color palette, and the design took full advantage of that. From accent walls to custom-designed furniture and even the floor tiles, every surface is a nod to the agency’s dynamic brand identity.
The incorporation of bold colors adds to the energy of the office while also creating distinct zones that are both visually and functionally unique.
Whether it’s the calming tones in the meeting rooms or the playful pops of color in the hot-desking zone, every detail was carefully chosen to make employees feel inspired and at home.
Of course, no project is without its challenges. The biggest challenge for the design team was meeting a tight 60-day deadline. This wasn’t just a matter of finishing the work on time; it involved a complex process of designing, sourcing, and shipping custom-made furniture, carpets, tiles, and lighting from China. Each piece was carefully made to fit the unique needs of the office, ensuring a cohesive and polished look. Despite the challenges, the design team’s ability to deliver a high-quality space within such a short time frame is a testament to their commitment and expertise.
The result is an office that does more than just accommodate employees, it brings out the best in them. From flexible workspaces to quiet zones, from energizing color schemes to thoughtful amenities, the office is designed with the future in mind. It’s a space where people are encouraged to be themselves, collaborate freely, and achieve their best work. This office is a place to create, connect, and thrive. And with such a thoughtfully designed space, the future for Nouveau Ink Studioworks looks brighter than ever.
